#4 the weasel skin

"The weasel skin" was a very good story, the character Crowdy caught me off guard. I thought that Crowdy was a quiet and timid character, I did not expect him to come up with a plan to get his to patners and friends killed by one another. I was under the impression that Crowdy was in shock from the fire and grabbed absolutly nothing, that he was quiet and not quite aware of what was happening. But the truth was that he did grab food. He secretly got beans and biscuits for himself as well as tea for everyone to share. All the time he was keeping to himself he was actually planning how to survive. Crowdy is a truely brillient character.
